2TE BATCH PREFORMER

The uniquely designed taper screw batch preformer has a large volume hopper which will accept a whole batch from a dispersion mixer without preforming. The taper screws continuously and automatically bite and feed the compound which is then extruded through a die. This simple but very effective feeder allows the operator to eliminate many labor intensive material handling processes between the mixer and existing conventional extruders or mills.

The variable speed motor means ideal performance for all types of compounds and conditions. The ability to heat and cool the large surface of the hopper bottom, sides, as well as the screws and head, make even the most temperature sensitive formulae good candidates for the batch feeder.
