Twin Taper Screw Design

The TSP-Type Twin Taper Screws are designed to maximize compound output capacity. The taper screw design allows for efficient material conveying from the large screw diameter at the compound-receiving end to the smaller taper feeding section. The co-rotating action of the taper screws provides sufficient compression ensuring a constant material feed to the roller die creating continuous and uninterrupted sheet or strips.

Linear Potentiometer

The potentiometer regulates the roll gap adjustment for accurate sheet control. When equipped with a motorized gap controller the potentiometer displays via an LED the precise roll gap setting. This allows the operator to make roll gap adjustments with ease from the control panel.

Bank Controller

The bank controller spreads the material uniformly on the roll surface providing tighter sheet tolerances and higher sheet densities. When combined with electronic limit switches, the screws will automatically increase or decrease speed to compensate for over/under feeding.

Lubrication is delivered via the cooling system through individual piping. All lubrication is passed through a filter and supplied to the bearings for maximum efficiency and lubrication. The system maintains low operating temperatures increasing bearing and gear life.
